A concern with the insides of things. Present-tense, no fixed state.
Adaptations of skies, surfaces of buildings, grids, lines, movements of light. The exact origin of my materials was often unknown, their original functions unclear, due to their visual ambiguities, the altered states in which I found them in, taken out of their context, thrown away.
Shadows made by windows, standing, materialised. Perpendiculars – intersections of vertical and horizontal. To unify the abstract with the concrete.
The wall is the sky, the floor is the earth. A confluence, co-mingling of landscapes, trying to find ways to reconcile your insides with what is outside.
